The Land of Eiderdown

18

60 years ago, long before duvets or trampolines had been thought of, my favourite story was one of a little girl waking to see her eiderdown stretched as far as they eye could see. She jumped and bounced along all day with her toys. I was in big trouble when I tried this myself and broke the bed. Ironically, the bed had to be held up with books until a new one could be bought. Oops!!!
